Even though I do not buy wood, there is still a ton of work that goes into getting wood. Having said that I finally found some wood that will work for more Blue Carnival bowls. It was a whole tree that had been damaged beyond the point of  repair. It is Hickory. Very heavy and hard but nice to work with. It also has the color I am looking for. So I am really looking forward to a plethora of new carnival bowls in many shapes and sizes.
